Terms of Service
Please read these Terms carefully. By using FoodPlacee you agree to them.
1. Acceptance & Eligibility
By accessing or using FoodPlacee — including browsing food place and menu pages, submitting listings or corrections, claiming a business page, or contacting our team — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must stop using the service.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to use FoodPlacee. Business owners and managers must be authorized to act on behalf of the business they represent on the platform.
2. Using FoodPlacee
FoodPlacee is a global food discovery platform that organizes information about food places, menus, cuisines, cities, and dining experiences. You may access FoodPlacee for personal, non-commercial discovery purposes. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use FoodPlacee for these purposes.
You agree NOT to:
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from FoodPlacee without written permission.
- Use automated tools to overload, disrupt, or interfere with normal service.
- Impersonate any business, owner, or other person on the platform.
- Submit harmful, deceptive, illegal, defamatory, or abusive content.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from FoodPlacee.
- Use FoodPlacee to spam, harass, or otherwise harm businesses or users.
FoodPlacee is provided as-is. We may add, remove, suspend, or change features, listings, and content at any time without notice.
3. Food Place and Menu Information
FoodPlacee organizes food place, menu, hours, location, and review-style content from a variety of sources — including business-submitted information, public data, partner integrations, and user submissions. We work to keep information useful, but details may be outdated, incomplete, or changed by the business.
Diners should always confirm important details — including menu items, prices, hours, dietary information, allergens, and availability — with the business directly before visiting or ordering.
What FoodPlacee is not
FoodPlacee is not a reservations, ordering, payments, or delivery platform. We do not handle transactions between you and any business listed on FoodPlacee, and we are not a party to those transactions. If you reach a business through FoodPlacee and then visit, order, or pay them, that interaction is between you and the business.
4. User Submissions
When you submit content to FoodPlacee — including listing requests, menu updates, correction reports, contact messages, or business claims — you represent and confirm that:
- The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You have the right to share the information you submit.
- Your submission does not infringe on anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- You will not submit harmful, misleading, or abusive content.
By submitting content, you grant FoodPlacee a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute that content as needed to operate, promote, and improve the service.
FoodPlacee may review, edit, accept, reject, or remove any submission at any time, without notice and at our discretion.
5. Business Claims & Owner Pages
Restaurant owners, café owners, bar owners, and authorized managers can claim a FoodPlacee page for the business they operate. Claims may require additional verification, including business email, phone confirmation, or supporting documentation.
FoodPlacee may:
- Approve or reject a claim at its discretion.
- Request additional verification before approving a claim.
- Revoke a claim if ownership signals are not verified or if the claim is disputed.
- Resolve competing claims using available evidence.
Claimed pages remain owned and operated by FoodPlacee. Claiming a page does not transfer ownership of the page, the URL, the data, or any related rights to the business. FoodPlacee retains full editorial control over how information is presented.
6. Intellectual Property
The FoodPlacee name, logo, design, page templates, and editorial structure are owned by FoodPlacee and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or imitate these elements without written permission.
Business names, logos, photos, and menu information remain the property of the respective businesses or their licensors. FoodPlacee organizes this information under fair-use, business-listing, and editorial principles.
If you believe content on FoodPlacee infringes your intellectual property, please use the Content Removal page to submit a request.
7. Third-Party Links & Content
FoodPlacee may link to or reference third-party websites, businesses, menus, social media accounts, and online ordering systems. We do not control or endorse third-party content, and we are not responsible for their accuracy, availability, or practices.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FoodPlacee and its team, contributors, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of business, food allergies, food-related illness, inconvenience, missed reservations, financial loss, or emotional distress — arising from:
- Your use of, or inability to use, FoodPlacee.
- Your decision to visit, order from, or rely on any business listed on FoodPlacee.
- Inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete information shown on FoodPlacee.
- Disputes between you and any business or third party.
You use FoodPlacee at your own risk and are solely responsible for confirming any important details with the business directly.
9. Termination
FoodPlacee may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, harmed other users or businesses, or otherwise misused the platform. You may stop using FoodPlacee at any time.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service, legal requirements, or business practices. Material changes will be communicated through the website with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of FoodPlacee after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable consumer-protection and digital-service laws of the jurisdiction in which FoodPlacee operates. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
12. Contact
If you have questions, concerns, or comments about these Terms, email us at foodplacee.com@gmail.com or reach out via the Contact page and select "General support" or "Business inquiry" as appropriate. Reports about specific listings can use Report a Problem or Content Removal.
